2015 Cross Country Program
As a provisional club under the SCYTFC the Flyers had a successful 2014 Cross Country Program. Unfortunately we will not have a Cross Country Program for the 2015 season as we do not have the coaches, administrative staff or resources to support such a program.
If you are interested in Cross Country for 2015 please click here for information on United Track Club's Cross Country Program.
Also available is the Synergy Running Club. For information click here. Or visit them on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SynergyRunningClub.
We hope to have a Cross Country program in place for the 2016 season.

Philosophy
It is our intention at the Thousand Oaks Flyers to instill a life long love of running and engaging in a healthy, active lifestyle. We think running, running on the trails specifically, is the best way to do this. That is why we have created the Thousand Oaks Flyers Cross Country team.
No matter the ability of the runner, we are confident that we will be able to create the best possible experience for him or her. Each runner will be given the attention and the positive reinforcement needed to make sure that they feel like a contributing member of the program.
As an affiliate of the SCYTFC Cross Country Program, completion of the SCYTFC Registration and Waiver & Consent forms is mandatory for all athletes who wish to participate in cross country meets.

Volunteers
We do still need parent volunteers. Please respond with your availability.
We do still need coaches. You will be requested to commit to attending all (3) practices and the meets. We would like to get coaches on the books ASAP. We have a few people who are able to run with the kids fairly regularly, but we do still need parents to step up and take the responsibility of a head coaching position. We will have a team manager who will be in charge of most communication. Please respond with your availability.
